Kenilworth Lions President’s Charity for 2025/26
Fund Raising Event - Music for Minds. A community concert to be held on Saturday March 28 at Kenilworth School featuring Bad Vibrations Community Choir, the U3A Big Band and Kenilworth school students. Tickets at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/kenilworth-school
This year, the Lions hav chosen to partner with Kenilworth School on The Kenilworth School Mental Health Project.
There are over 400 children on the Special Education Needs (SEN) register at Kenilworth School and 28% of these struggle with mental health issues.
The Inclusion Team at Kenilworth School who will use the funds to enable the school to work with a range of other organisations focused on wellbeing and mental health issues.
The funds raised will help youngsters in our community who are dealing with mental health issues, for example difficult challenges resulting from adoption, fostering and bereavement. The aim is to help them make the best of their education and have a successful transition into adulthood.
